MINERVA S.A. Edible Oils Enterprises, one of the leading FMCG companies in the Greek and International market, is looking to hire an:
Quality Control Analyst
(The role is based at Schimatari and reports to Quality Control Supervisor)
Key Accountabilities:
- Organizing and conducting routine analyses and quality checks independently and in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, and regulatory guidelines
- Responsible for the accurate recording of the test results/measurements and comparing them with the defined specification.
- Responsible for reviewing with his/her peers the Quality Control data and keeping the necessary documentation, including results from external laboratories and suppliers.
- Follows & review sampling procedures, collects quality data and performs statistical analyses to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
- Monitors trends and identifies problems in the quality of raw materials, packaging materials, additives and water and informs the quality department, production, and external partners.
- Conducting routine and non-routine maintenance to the laboratory equipment
- Participates in Hygiene / Quality Audits in the areas of Production, collects the results and informs the organization about it and works with production for correction
- Providing input and participates in quality cycles continuous improvement initiatives
- Advising and providing training to the production teams to improve hygiene, GMP’s and quality control in production lines
The role requires work in shifts.
Candidate Profile:
- Food Technology degree is essential
- 1-3 years of relevant working experience and preferably in food sector will be considered as an asset
- Experience in analytical chromatography will be considered an asset
- Excellent knowledge of the English language (oral & written)
- Military obligations fulfilled for male candidates
